Microinvasive ultrasound guided carpal tunnel release is a revolutionary new technique, pioneered by Associate Professor Peter Hebbard. It is a novel way of performing release of the transverse carpal ligament, one of the most common operations in the world.
Using the micro-iBlade, a tool designed by Associate Professor Hebbard and manufactured by Summit Medical, it is now possible to perform the operation through a needle hole.
As with any new procedure it is being carefully introduced.
